David J. Wyss - November 19, 2003
David J. Wyss, 47, of 202 Robin Lane, Minonk, died at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 19, 2003) at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa.
His memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk, the Rev. Stanley Deptula officiating. Inurnment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Minonk. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Calvert & Froelich Memorial Home Minonk Chapel, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to his sons' educational fund. He was born March 1, 1956, in Peoria, a son of Richard W. Sr. and Phyllis J. Deady-O'Harra Wyss. On Aug. 19, 1978, he married Dorri Ketchmark in Minonk. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, D.J., Derek and Hunter, all at home; his parents of Minonk; a brother, Richard (Sandi) Wyss Jr., Barrington; and a sister, Sue Smith, Minonk. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk; and was a 25-year employee of Evergreen FS, where he was a certified crop adviser. |
